White granules, which are the sodium salt of metasilicic acid and represent hydrated alkaline sodium silicates.

Production:
Obtained by the isohydric crystallization of an alkaline silica solution.
Aqueous solutions are strongly alkaline and exhibit chemical properties identical to alkali solutions. When treated with acids, aqueous solutions decompose, releasing a silicic acid gel.

Hydrogen peroxide stabilizer, complexing agent, pH regulator, and oil stain remover.
Foundry Industry
Binder for molding sand.
Drilling & Oil Production
Functions as an extender, enabling the immobilization of larger volumes of water. Also serves as a cement setting accelerator.
