The document defines methods of analysis, quality requirements, and indicators used in product control.

In the production of potassium liquid glass for the paint and varnish industry, STEKLOLUX uses this GOST as the primary regulatory document.

If potassium liquid glass is produced for other industries, GOST 18958-73 is applied as a methodological and analytical basis, while specific product parameters are recorded in the enterprise's Technical Specifications.
